Cartography Design and Geographic Information Systems (4.o units)

Offered in the Fall only.  Student learns cartographic techniques and understand the most basic principles of map design to distinguish well-designed maps from poorly designed layout along with continued reinforcement of project file management and portability, creating layer packages for sharing data.  Students complete course with experience publishing online interactive maps.
