Spring Schedule 2022 

Semester starts January 29th thru May 21st  

Spring 2022 GIS courses are either hybrid or online. What is the difference between Online and Hybrid? 

Hybrid is when the student is partially online and on campus (or in the field) at the scheduled time. Hybrid will provide the option for student to zoom in if unable to attend on campus  

Online is asynchronous where the student meets at a scheduled live lecture and will be recorded for those unable to attend. 


Students are provided with the software to perform lessons from off campus however you have the option to use our high tech campus computer labs

  • Introduction to GIS (GIS 120) 4 units

    Note: Meets on Zoom w/ recorded session.  While attendance is not required, lecture will be on zoom and recorded. Meeting day and time TBD, contact faculty


  • Intermediate GIS (GIS 220)

    Note: This course is now moved online due to COVID as requested by LA Co DPW. However, several field exercise opportunities will be offered during the semester on Fridays and Saturdays
