Spring 2023 GIS courses are either hybrid or online. What is the difference between Online and Hybrid? 

​

Hybrid is when the student is partially online and on campus (or in the field) at the scheduled time one day a week. However, students have the option to attend connect via zoom 

​

Online is asynchronous where the student meets at a scheduled live lecture and will be recorded for those unable to attend. 

 

Students are provided with the software to perform lessons from off campus however you have the option to use our high tech campus computer labs

  Note: This course is tentatively scheduled to meet at Los Angeles Co Department of Public Works (DPW) however COVID restrictions may resort to move class online However, several field exercise opportunities will be offered during the semester on Fridays and Saturdays.
