Spring Schedule 2021 (entirely online)

Semester starts February 1st, 2021

Do I need a Computer?

Yes, you do need to have access to a computer either a Windows or Mac (mouse recommended) and internet access.

Do I need to install software?

No, you will have access to the fast high tech labs via remote desktop.  No software, configuration required on your computer (Windows or Mac).   However, you have the option to install the software on your personal computer.

Are classes online?

All classes during Spring 2021 are entirely online.  Course are provided thru Canvas with lesson materials and sessions are conducted on Zoom.  There is no need to travel to Rio Hondo Campus as application for admission and registration can be performed online. For many of us today, we find ourselves at home with families and unexpected happenings and would much prefer the convenience and safety of online with the ability to work on your own schedule.

Are the Classes Asynchronous or Synchronous (live)?

Classes can be completed Asynchronous.  However two 60 minute sessions for each class will be scheduled for those who have time or prefer to meet 'live' (Synchronous) on Zoom... the sessions are always recorded and made available later that evening. You may still add the class regardless that the schedule shows the class is full, contact wroberts@riohondo.edu to determine if you can add class.

Note, class may not meet for entire time specified and sessions are recorded for later viewing. Contact instructor for more information.
